Is there a way to block attachments with W2K3 or do you have to have a 3rd party app.? If so what are some good ones?

Thanks

1) 3rd party app - You may already have one, as many antivirus scanners/filters perform this at the gateway or server.

2) Outlook 2000 (with the security update), XP (2002), and 2003 block attachments.

3) You can script the attachment blocking with event sinks.

The event sink was just what I needed, Thanks!!!!

Ok. So Outlook XP blocks attachments but what if I don't want them blocked. I keep seeing explanations for this and it explains "unless you have exchange" you'll have to a reg hack. I am interested in the Exchange solution but i'm just the netadmin. assistant and the regular admin. is gone for the week. Anybody know?
