hi exchange 2000 gurus out there...question, there is a user that is a former employee of our company, we don't want him to email anyone one of us from his personal email account, how can we block his personal email from the entire domain, i don't want to block the domain alone, becuase its msn.com, but just his email: xxx@msn.com

thanks in advance!

thanks, however, can you give me a little more detail on how to enable restrictions?

i see, i followed the directions, however when i click add, its asking me to select from a internal email addres, i need to block from an external email address?

just tried that, created a contact with the right email address, still lets the email through

Try this

Open ESM
Expand global settings
Right click message delivery, properties
Filtering tab, add button

Tick in "accept without notifying tickbox"

Cheers

Paul
