NEC Tech here still learning Nortel. I was just asked if we can block 411 calls on our 61C. I know it's possible becuase I just don't know how yet. I knew how to on NEC switches but being new to Nortel I'd rather ask for help insted of take chances so soon... (Hospital) help

Thanks in advance

You can block it altogether or limit it to certain NCOS users.

You also have to consider blocking 555-1212 and NPA-555-1212

If you just want to stop 411, look for it in LD 90, then delete it

LD 90
REQ PRT
CUST 0
FEAT NET
TRANS AC1
TYPE SPN
SPN 411

If that does not produce the 411 entry, just print the whole thing to a text file and do a search on "411" - like this

LD 90
REQ PRT
CUST 0
FEAT NET
TRANS AC1
TYPE ALL

Then to delete 411

LD 90
REQ OUT
CUST 0
FEAT NET
TRANS AC1
TYPE SPN
SPN 411

Thank you ghtrout for your help, I'll be doing this first thing Monday morning. This learning curve is tough, it's hard to drain NEC from my brain! hehe

Thanks Again

Ok I did find 411, here is what I have based on your instructions:

REQ prt
CUST 0
FEAT net
TRAN AC1
TYPE SPN

SPN 411

SPN 411
FLEN 3
ITOH YES
RLI 12
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

My question is, how do I delete the 411?

Thanks

At the REQ type OUT then:

CUST 0
FEAT NET
TRANS AC1
TYPE SPN
SPN 411

and enter down, then do a test call!

My gosh you are as fast as you are good! hehe Thank you RyanEOD

Uh... er... um... just looked back at GHTROUT's post above and saw that he already included the answer on deleting. My bad, sorry guys

No worries. I often over look things too when posting on here. When you are confused and lost it doesn't always make sense.

depending on the cust you may want to deny all ld 411 as well.. since you just blocked local

Code:
FEAT net
TRAN ac1
TYPE npa

NPA 1213

NPA 1213
RLI 2
DENY 555

SDRR DENY CODES = 1
ITEI NONE

that requires a chg prt npa, or a script when you do the change at the sdrr enther deny return 555 return back to npa..
