Blob error 1

I have a master detail relationship. In the master query I have a blob field. When I modify this field I get the error Blob not opened.
I'm working in D5 with SQL Server 7, using transaction and cache updates
Anybody can help me ??

Maybe the blob field is not fetched to client. If so,you can fetch it first before you edit it!

When I use MasterQ.FetchAll I get this two situations:
When I modify then detail data before modify the blob field,
the detail data modified is not saved and
when I modify then blob field and after it modify the detail data I get the same error Blob not opened
