I'm using Illustrator 9 and when I use the blend tool on 2 objects with different colors all I get is a black path from one object to the next. Any ideas why ????
thanks

Are the two objects using the same color model or are you going from spot to CMYK (for example)?

Have you defined the steps to create the blend? You may need to add more than 2.

I have more than 2 steps and both shapes are CMYK. the blend becomes all black. Any more ideas on what could be the problem ????? thanks

does one of the objects have a stroke on it? does one of the objects have a spot color assigned to it? If these are the answers then what values of CMYK are you blending? BEHOLD! As Steve Jobs introduces us the latest in desk-lamp technology!

I'm having the same problem except everything turns to white with mine. It's driving me insane. Can anyone help?
