Blasting under a building

Hi,

Do you guys know, if blasting under the building, can have some impact on the computers in the building. We have a server, back up device and about 25 desktops.
DO you know anything about it?

I just got a Sony\Ericsson PCMCIA card for my laptop,and no kidding it says in the manual for safety tips "Do not use around construction sites where blasting occurs". Sony is afraid that the card might set off the explosives prematurely.

I found this rather wierd, and was wondering if Maggieddd had any laptops in the building using these cards?
