A problem has occured after installing the MS hotfix for the MSBlaster virus.
This hotfix with Veritas BackupExec 9 gives problems on the (Windows 2000 Server). The server is running, then the RPC proces hangs after serveral hours, causing many functionalites stops(like all network shares), and the server needs to be restarted. The error would be in the RPCRT4.dll that has been replace by the Hot Fix.
MS knows the problem but says that Veritas should offer a solution, Veritas has not yet reacted. We ar trying to get Veritas to (temporarily) solve this issue.
Has anyone also had this problem in this combination? Does anyone have a work-around for this problem?
