Blank Windows Taskbar Icons Keep Reappearing

Hi,
Whenever I open a Word document, multiple tiny blank icons, with no name on them, appear on the Windows Taskbar. Whenever I click on any of them, they will just disappear out of the taskbar, and no program is opened, or switched to.
However, many will reappear once again should another document be opened.

Hi,
This code be related to addins that word is using.
Close word, do a search for normal.dot. Rename it to normal.old
Restart word....do the same things happen?
Also may be worth doing a full virus scan if this doewsnt work?
