Blank window when expoting a report to a web page

When my ASP page calls a report, the report is generated and saved, but only a blank window is displayed in the browser. This happens for .pdf, .doc, and .xls formats

I have this exact problem that you describe. Blank report showing when trying to display an exported report. I was wondering if you ever found a solution

I had this same issue and the following fixed my problem.

Verify the path to "rptserver.asp" in your SmartViewerActiveX.asp page. Worked like a charm for me.

I am not using the smart viewr. I am exporting to pdf, word and excel and opening the file in a browser windo. The files get created fine on the server but cannot be viewed by some users
