Blank Property Browser in Business View Manager

BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1
MS SQL Server 2005

I was working in BVM (adding passwords to data connections, etc.)...then the Property Browser went blank. You can see the window but no properties. I closed BVM and reopened with no resolution. Anyone know how to resolve? Does the server need to be restarted?

I fixed it! Went to View, Property Browser - it was checked, but the window was blank. I unchecked it.

Then clicked View, checked Object Explorer.

Then clicked View, checked Property Browser again.

It's baaaaack. Not sure why it disappeared in the first place?
