I've got only one group in my report, and I get a blank page each time the group name changes. How can I prevent this?

On the section expert on your group header the print new page after check box is not selected

Are you referrring to "New Page After?" If so, I've tried checking it and unchecking it. No difference.

Actually, now that I look at it, the page header is printing on every page -- including a blank page when the group changes name. I just don't want any blank pages any where -- even when a group name changes.

Do you have your group footer suppressed or displayed? Its quite possible that you are printing all your records from the group onto a page, and there isn't enough room for the group footer to show, so it moves the footer to the next page. Does it say "GF1" in the gray section bar on the left hand side of the screen?

Dear Faith,

Check the options on the group ...

Right click the group header in the gray area to the left of the group and choose Change Group.

Look at your options.

Do you have Keep Group Together selected? Also, make sure that the Group Footer for your group isn't overly large. AS a test, suppress the group footer to see what happens.

Rosemary -- that was it! I had "Keep Together" selected on the group options. It works great now; thanks so much!

Thanks, kwalters110, too.
