Actually I have two problems related to Page Breaks.
I have a report, grouped by Customer Name. First problem, every other page is coming up completely blank.
How do I avoid this?
Next problem, I am getting about 5 or 6 customers and the correspoding data on one page which is perfectly fine. But I'd like it to not go to a new page until that information on one customer is finished. Instead, it may break right in the middle of a particular customer's information.
Help appreciated.
Kathy

Kathy,
First, be sure that the margins for your report in design view are set narrow enough to fit on the paper size you are using, both vertical and horizontal.
ie. paper width 8 1/2 inches, margins 1 inch left and 1 inch right. Report must be less than 7 1/2 inches. The same for the vertical margins (11 inch paper) top margin 1 inch, bottom 1 inch. Report height must be less than 9 inches.

Second, in design view of your report click on the "sorting and grouping" icon. highlite the top entry and change the "keep together" to "whole group"

The answer to my second question was right on!
However, as far as my first question about blank pages, I'm still getting them on every other page.

I have made my margins 1 inch all around. I've set up an 8.5 X 11" paper size and no matter what else I do, still get that blank page.

Kathy,
What is the width and height of the white area where the fields are.
Jim

With 1 inch margins all way round, the size would have to be 6.5 and 9 inches because there are a total of 2 inches of margin in vertical and 2 inches of margin in horizontal.

To Jpeneh10 and grnzbra -
Thanks a ton from a frustrated user who finally has a great looking report. Perfect advice. God bless you both!!
