Blank page loads

I just set up a new machine and I am having this problem:

On about a third of the sites I try to load there is a flash on the status and "done" appears in the left hand corner but no page is loaded. In about half of these cases I get to the sites home page but get these results trying to navigate futher.

Am I missing something. Using ie 6

xp 2003 sp2, Brand new machine. It may be my ISP. Yesterday they were dropping me after about 45 minutes with no disconnect message which has never happened with them before. I am going to check with them on Monday.

If using DSL, it is important to get the MTU value set correctly.

For ADSL 1492 is the most common MTU, but test it:

. If you are using a Broadband router, use its configuration pages to set the MTU value you discovered above.
