Blackberry sync process...have to change betwn server name and IP addr

User is logging into the desktop manager, the error is "BB server....is unavailable. Switching to either IP address or server name (depends on what was used last) will resolve the error. Usually just needs server name...
Any ideas? advise?

That sounds like a name resolution problem - makes me think you have a DNS issue. Try doing nslookup to test, and using a hosts file and see if that helps. If it does, research the DNS problems further.
