blackberry server service not starting

At the company I work we just installed the blackberry
server and all the services start except for the server
service. It throws an error "5408" without any useful information.
Anyone had this problem or has any Ideas??

Did you try to reboot the BES and start again?
What Exchange are you using?
Did you apply the service packs?

We got it, it was actually something really stupid.
We solved the problem looking a the installation log file.
The machine that we were installing the program had a date
of 2003 and this screwed the installation.
After putting the right date we reinstalled and everthing is fine now.
