Bizarre Outlook Behaviour

In Outlook one of our users is having very strange issues. Mainly when he closes an email message it actually closes outlook down! he also had it that when he closed and email it would delete the email message! there are no rules setup, we are in an exchange environment, but this happens all the time, especially the closing of outlook.

Any suggestions will be greatly received.

It would really help if you provided the version of Outlook that you're using.

Depending on version did you try "Detect and Repair" or "Office Diagnostics"?

Outlook 2010, yes tried that and recreated profile etc but doesnt do anything, asked him to change his mouse so see if that maybe does it (over sensitive mouse maybe), any further guidance will be great.

For initial testing, try the /safe command line switch. However, my guess is that one of the /clean_____ or /reset______ switches will be the final fix. See
