Hi,
we run CM 4.2 with 95% os users using Ext Mob.
We are due an upgrade and because of the new licensing models we had a meeting at the local cisco offices re CUWL, UCL so they could explain a bit more.
They said that ext mobility users would need an "analogue" license to carry on logging into their phones which they said comes in at $40 and its nothing to do with CUWL( they said $'s even though we are in the UK)
We have over 2700 EM users !! That would mean over $100K before we do anything !! How can that be fair ? They said that due to our UCSS we get the software free so we're saving their blah, blah but how can they seriously mean this?
I cannot believe this is true - but when you speak to Mohammed you take it that what he's telling you is gospel!

Can anyone ratify debunk this please??

Please keep "Mohammed" out of the subject. This is not a religious forum and should respect each other.

haha don't be so precious mate ffs
I'd expect Jesus, Buddha, or any other higher authority to be just as honest :p

Extension mobility does not require licensing. Whoever is telling you this is wrong.
He is either getting confused with the mobility connect feature or see above.

Not the first to say that - Cisco forum say the same !
Thanks
