I'm on site with a BCM450 that has a very unusual problem. It won't process a 2 from any CCR tree. It is supposed to be transferring to a queue, but upon further testing, I now see that I can dial all extensions directly that start with a 2, eg.228, 229, but it will not process the transfer. It simply goes back to repeating the CCR tree main menu prompt.

I don't know if I perhaps need a patch although system 018.201302-1, desktop 001.201007-1, and software management 18-1 are current on the system.

This is a brand new install from scratch.

I did notice some kind of anomaly when I was trying to set up the queues in that it would not allow me to just use a vacant extension number for example 251,252 etc. I even tried 221 with no set on it. It would come back with a message saying invalid DN?

I ultimately got it to work using 351, 352, and saw that they were in use for an "application" but that was the only way I could get my queues up and thought maybe 450 unlike 400 had reserved numbers to use for queues.

Anybody been here? Patch fix? Or back-up and change the hard drive? Checked all programming.

Currently on-site, and of course 2 has to be the transfer on all trees to accounts receivable...bonus!

Thanks in advance!

My apologies. After further testing, I found that someone, unknown to me had put 2 in the repeat menu for the CCR tree.

Thanks to all.

Call centre DN,s use application numbers.
You can't assign an ordinary extn DN as the call centre DN.

Hey Snowman50!

Is this something that has changed with the Linux based BCMs? I can always remember on either Call Pilot Call Center with CICS/MICS or on BCM 3.7 just using a spare extension number and then renumbering it to an easier number like 401, 402, 403 for my Queue control DN's.

If I remember correctly it's been like this from release3
