I have a pc with 2 * 160gb sata drives in an onboard nvidia nforce raid.Have installed bitlocker but encryption of c stays at 0%.event viewer reports 24612- Metadata commit: Metadata update could not be flushed.it appears that bitlocker may not work with raid. is there any way to resolve this?

there is an onboard nvidia nforce raid chip so I created a 2 disk array from within the raid utility. is this not a hardware, rather than a software raid, and so bitlocker should see drive as software raid or mirror?

It may well support hardware RAID, which is transparent, but your on-board RAID will be fake RAID. Is that supported?
