BIOS Post Codes????

Hi,
I'm trying to analyze my computer with a "PC Analyzer" card
because i'm not getting any video.
I have "Phoenix" BIOS in my "Gigabyte" GA-K8NS Pro Motherboard
I don't understand what the code descriptions mean.
Couple Examples:

Code 02 = Verify Real Mode
Code 07 = Disable Shadow and Execute Code from the ROM

Can someone please help me out here???

What is wrong with my computer??? Is it the motherboard??

I have changed out the RAM modules and bought a brand new
AMD Athlon XP 64 CPU thinking that might be the problem and nada!!
Still NO video and NO working computer!!

Any HELP would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi robqx4, those error codes look like Phoenix 4.0 Release 6.0 BIOS Post Codes however looking on the net there doesn't seem to be much info on how to solve those errors, but this will help you get an understanding of maybee which areas to look into

Question: have you tried another GFX Card, at all? it may just be that the card is busted...

Couple of other things to check. Does it beep during startup? One long beep is good, the manual has a list of what they all mean. I have Peter Norton's Inside the PC and the Winn Rosch Hardware Bible at work, one or the other had a huge list of them all. Is the video card seated all the way and does it have good power, the high power cards need an extra power source. Were you trying to overclock the video or CPU? If so you may be able to reset the CMOS, but overclocking can be fatal. Also, what analyzer card are you using, I thought most of them came with pretty good documentation. Terry
