How can I find the exact BIND version (Berkeley Internet Named Daemon) packaged in the AIX Version ? What fileset contains that stuff ?

Packages = bos.net.tcp.server and bos.net.tcp.client

IBM Certified Confused - MQSeries
IBM Certified Flabbergasted - AIX 5 pSeries System Administration
MS Certified Windblows Rebooter

OK and what about the bind version ? How can I get it ?

$ lslpp -f bos.net.tcp.server|grep named
/usr/sbin/named8-xfer
/usr/samples/tcpip/named.hosts
/usr/sbin/named -> /usr/sbin/named8
/usr/samples/tcpip/named.conf
/usr/samples/tcpip/named.data
/usr/samples/tcpip/named-bootconf.pl
/usr/sbin/named8
/usr/sbin/named9
/usr/sbin/named-xfer -> /usr/sbin/named8-xfer
/usr/samples/tcpip/named.boot

it looks there are 2 versions - v8 and v9, and /usr/sbin/named is linked with v8
