Does anyone know what .bin files are? I have a huge .bin file that I'd like to get rid of but wasn't sure if I need it or not. Thanks.

What's the filename, and which path does it live on? If it is a left-over from an application you have since uninstalled you can probably get rid of it safely. If it is on a system path (eg. c:\windows c:\windows\system) then best to leave it alone.

FYI:

.bin is the file extension for binary files.

DBLSPACE.BIN & DRVSPACE.BIN are used for compression, but the .bin extension is not exclusive to drivespace.
