BGP Advertising in 3620 ios 12.0(7)T

I'm trying to advertise one new network in BGP in one AS router.

(config-router)# network 192.168.22.0 mask 255.255.255.128

I don't see any new net in bgp debug mode, only the old nets.

when I change the command to this:
(config-router)# network 192.168.22.0

It looks like the router like it, and I can see the new net in debug ip bgp out.

Strange, anyone know why ??

When you set up dynamic routing protocols, example router RIP, OSPF, IGRP, etc, you only list the directly connected networks, but do not include the subnet masks.
