bg transparent swf's? 1

hey gang,

similar to what brisox was asking, can u export an swf outta flashMx, and embed it in a dreamweaver html, with the swf having a transparent background?

u can set a bg color for the swf in dreamweaver, but if u choose no colour it defaults to the swf's movie colour. So looking back in the document settings in flash, it seems cant specify transparent as the movie colour :(

ne ideas folks?

Just type:
<param name=&quot;wmode&quot; value=&quot;Transparent&quot;>

in your HTML-code.

It's a Windows deal only...

i was able to use the parameters interface in dreamweaver and just put the values in there.

ok then....macs and netscape are no good with that fix. Is there way to work around? i did export the swf with the bg of the cell it was to be placed into in it. that worked allright ne other ideas?
