How does one move to next tab in a cell in a table...with VBA of course?
There's no wdTab to use and within tables it all gets a little bit more difficult (for me at least). Even manually you can't use the TAB button, because it skips to the next cell. I know I can use CTRL + TAB, but there must be a correct way to go to next tab with VBA...right? :)

because I'm using ....cells(1)....meaning when I .collapse 0, it collapses the whole cell and goes on at the next cell."

This is true. However, you can collapse the range, and then back up a single character, in other words, to just before the end-of-cell marker.

As for putting in a Wingding character, could you elaborate? It may help if you do what I have suggested.

Use styles.

"I need some text (Style="Normal")"

I am a professional technical writer and have literally written thousands of documents. Not a single one has a single paragraph using "Normal".

So...make a character style that has its defined font as Wingding...and there you go.

Gerry,

Are you telling us that you have NOTHING at all to do with "[red]Normal[/red]?" ;-)

Skip,

[glasses]Just traded in my old subtlety...
for a NUANCE![tongue]

Well, I actually haven't set up the document from the start, but the main texts of the document use the Normal style. Whether it's modified I don't know, but I don't think so. That's just the way they wanted it :)

Regarding the Wingding-problem. No matter if I use a style or not (I promise I'll make one) it's still a problem with collapsing the entire cell. You say I can back up one character, how exactly do I do that? - I see a lot of Move-methods but can't figure out what to use...
