Best way to insert audio

Hi guys, from my web site (

i would like to insert an audio file to play in the background while my web site is looked at.

obviously i would give the user full control over the audio. The method that i have used is inserting it via a plugin, but when you click to another page, then the audio either restarts if you click 'Home Page' again or stops when another page is clicked.

Would the easiest way be to put the audio into a seperate frame to the content and set all the links to load up in the content frame so the frame with the audio in not reload?

best way is to (quick time, flash) and yes going to next page will stop the audio. you can make the site in flash if you want the constant loop of audio.

i was thinking of just having a frame at the top of the page with the player controls in and changing all the links to open into the main content frame. Cheers for that answer

sure if you are willing to go that route then consider Iframe.
I believe that in flash u can control the 'loop' and 'autoplay' feature.
As long as you are aware of the iframe/frame cons you can totally do it.
