Hello all,

I would like to get some opinions on the best procedure for handling this situation. We have an IP Office 406 w/Voicemail Pro and I would like to have...

1. Inbound call rings ext 201 for 20 seconds.

2. On no-answer, call routes to backup hunt group for 15 seconds.

3. on no-answer, call transfers to vm pro and gives user the ability to select 1 of four messaging options.

What is the best way/procedure to ahieve these results?

Thanks,

Garry

Easiest way would be if you let it ring 20 sec on backup group too.

In that ase you set Voicemail On for the user, and set the backup huntgroup on no answer.
You'll also need call waiting on the user.

In this case the call should ring 20 sec on the user, then 20 sec on the huntgroup before going to the users Voicemail where you can set up your meny in Voicemail under "User.Leave".

So does that mean I would have voicemail on for the hunt group as well and then build the menu for the hunt groups voicemail or are you saying build the menu off the user's vm at extension 201?

Thanks,

Garry
