I have a T1 connected to an Exchange Voice Mail server and it went down today. I can currently bring the trunk group up but the signaling group stays down. I have swapped DS1 boards and CSUs. Cabling tested OK. Loopback tests OK on the T1 board on the Exchange VM server.

The DS1 board flashes red on Test 2.

I want to switch the board to a different slot for more testing. What would be the best practice in doing so?

The only way I know of doing that is to remove it from programming. then remove the card to the new location, and re-program.

that was the plan. just wanted to check.
