I cannot find another place best for this posting but I was curious get some feedback for email servers. We currently have an IMAP email hosting with GoDaddy but there has been a recent interest in moving over to an Exchange type of service. Has anyone used a comparable server product, server hosting, or whatever works best for your company.

I've deployed hundreds of servers, and migrated from hundreds of others. This includes Exchange, Notes, GroupWise, etc.

You need to determine the requirements of your organization, and then find the product that meets those requirements. For many organizations, Exchange can meet those needs.

FWIW - IMAP is pretty outdated and inefficient. Look at solutions that are on-premise and cloud based.

If you are a small outfit and don't want the complexity of buying and managing your own server, look at some of the cloud offerings such as Office 365.

As Pat says, it depends on your requirements but certainly IMAP is rather dated.

I would agree on Office 365. Since you're already using a cloud server - migrate to another, get the enhanced functionality, including SharePoint and Lync Online. Your users will call you a hero.

Awesome! I think y'all have got me sold. I'm in the process of a trial period with a select few of our organization.

1 question... Is there a way to "rebrand" the outlook? (remove the Office 365 logo and put mine)...My school uses live@edu and they have placed the school logo instead of the live@edu logo...I didn't know if anyone knew of a way to do this in office 365?

Only if you use a federated gateway. Just sign them up and use Outlook instead of OWA :)
