hi, the large list of compressors available on exporting something from premiere can be very overwhelming. I am making a CD of about 20 minutes of video footage and i'm wondering what the best compression would be. That means that my 20 minutes has to fit in 650 to 700 megs. I want to know what the best quality settings are that will fit in this amount of room. If anyone can tell me a few things to try that will be somewhat what im looking for, it would be a great help. ( otherwise i'll just have to try all of them ) Also, the CD will be played in a computer, but it will be watched on a TV connected to that computer, so the compressor should be one that would look okay on a large TV.

thank you,
andrew

Compress it to svcd. You will have to use a different program to do that. Roxio Video pack can handle that task.

Check out for the DivX 4 codec. It is derived from the MPEG-4 codec, and works wonders on video if you are concerned about quality and size. I have a 15 minute video that fits comfortably on a CD, I don't think you will have any problems with a 20 minute clip.

hope this helps...
