While I'm on here. I have been having issues with IE and Google chrome on the Avaya Learning website. IE (v9 B) won't show the graphics and Google won't play sound. Firefox and Safari are the same as IE. Does anybody have a browser that works.

By the way, IE has a generic problem with Flash on other sites so I use Google without any problems.

What windows are you using? I installed IE (v9 B) on my home computer that has windows vista and it has been nothing but problems. I have IE8 on my work computer and it runs windows XP and is running fine. I access Avaya sites with no problems, and they always ask you to install the latest Java software.

I have Windows 7 Premium Home. I also have a windows xp machine and it doesn't even display the Lesson content.

ping tech support or look closely at the learning pages. A lower version of java is needed than what you probably have installed.

I just accessed Avaya Learning center with my XP labtop, and i can still see the course content. Be sure you have the latest java updates. You can go to java.com and do a check to see what software you are running.

I use Opera.
The website is a bit messed up but it all works.

Dont they insist on using IE for the avaya-learning site? I alsways get a message when I load it in FF

We Recommend Internet Explorer

Web Browser Upgrade Needed
The Avaya Learning Centre is best experienced using Microsoft Internet Explorer.

While you may have success with other browsers, we recommend Internet Explorer in order to take advantage of all the learning activities the Avaya Learning Centre has to offer. You may experience difficulty accessing certain areas of the Avaya Learning Centre with other browsers.

Download the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer with the latest Java technology. Internet Explorer is the Avaya University recommended web browser.

They do tell you to use IE but with IE half of the site is broken :)

Yeah, I just wanted to sit and listen to a course as well as see the graphics. But it seems I can only manage one or the other.

In IE explorer enable the compatibility feature.
I have Win 7 pro and IE Explorer 9, browsing the learning site in compatibility mode just runs fine.
In IE explorer I have diabled almost all features like screening of sites, and other useless features for browsing the internet.
I always install the latest JAVA updates and Microsoft updates.
