Hello All
We have an Option 61c with RLS 25.4. We are debating if we should upgrade to RLS 4.5. I scoured to net a bit but was unable to find the benefits of this upgrade. Has anyone else done this and if so what are the benefits of this as it's expensive to upgrade.
Thanks for your input on this
Mark

one good reason for an upgrade is that you on the verge of having a non-surported rls. it's about the same as looking for a reason to upgrade from windows 3.2

If you are planning to use VoIP in the future, Rls. 25.4 is USELESS.

Thanks very much for these replies I will add this to the list so I can hopefully convince management to set asidde some budget for this upgrade
thanks again

look at call pilot at the same time, mermail is end of life. it's a lot better to replace the mail while it's still working then to retype that data

Hello John
We have replaced Call Pilot however we are looking to upgrade it to the latest version also we need to migratee to Symposium 5 however I heard Symposium 6 is out soon. So I need to list the priorites for these upgrades and explain to management why they need to be done. I think RLS 4.5 upgrade has the highest priority now. :)
Thanks again
Mark

your right, when nortel refuses to dial in and clean up a corruption issue, the boss may listen
