Are any other POS dealers having problems with the bellview nu-14 all-in-one touchscreen? We put them into one site and they crash more often than all our other product lines. Any suggestions or feedback on these terminals? FYI it is happening on both the ones that use the wall mount kit and the ones on the pedestals.

We use mintronix, PIII 800 with resitive screens. We are running win xp on them and they run like a champ

We have about 15 of the panel PC out there, and have had nearly 100% failure rate. You are not alone.

We sell Mintronix and 2-piece units (CPU + Touchscreen) that we source ourselves now. Nice thing about a 2-piece, if you have the space, is that you get more bang for your buck, and you can service the components separately.

We replaced them with posiflex jivas and brought them back to our shop and think we may have found the problem that was causing our headaches. They were shutting down all by themselves and restarting and sometimes not making it all the way through windows and reboot again. Appeared to be power related so I took the small power supply out and resoldered every single connection because some of them looked crappy. So far it hasn't failed.
Just a heads up for anyone else with these, and good luck.
