behing pix, using cisco vpn 3.0 to corp network vpn concentrator 3000

Im having problems connecting my host pc into my corp network using vpn.

Here's my setup

PC-----PIX-----ROUTER---------INTERNET-------CORP NETWORK's VPN CONCENTRATOR 3000

im using the vpn client v 3.0 at my end to connect to my corp network. Im also behind a pix firewall and a cisco router. Im able to get authenticated, however, im not able to ping anywhere or access any servers at my company's network. If i remove my pix, im able to connect and access network resources. I've looked all over cisco site and did not find any info on how to make this possible. Here's my config. any suggestions.

IPSec does not work properly through PAT.

Anyway, it is better to create a site to site vpn from the pix to the corporate network.

Another option is router-corporate VPN.

This could be another problem.
If your router is doing NAT, then you should try disabling NAT at the router and doing it only at the PIX.
This requires cooperation with your ISP.

Thanks for your respond. I tried to disble Nat on my router, but all i'm able to do is ping from the router to any host on the internet, however, im not able to access the internet from my pc, but i can ping the router, but not get pass that. Do i have to setup an access-list to allow internet access? june03
 
It's my router. I have a Cisco 827 router as well as a Pix. Do i still need help from my ISP? I know VPN works with my Netgear rt311. thanks june03
 
HI.

Try connecting the workstation directly to the router without the pix - but with proper IP address like 10.0.1.1.
(You might need to reboot the router or clear its arp cache).
Can you VPN now?

For disabling NAT at the router, you need some registered IP addresses and the ISP must configure their routers (and yours) with those IP addresses. This obviously requires their cooperation.

If you can VPN via the router with its current config, then using STATIC and maybe some access-list commands at the pix you might be able to VPN behind it, but you'll have to test without pix first.

I've tried it only behind the router, i get connected, but cant access or ping anything. Thank u for your help. I'll keep working at it and when i find a solution i will let u know. thank u again... june03
