Hi all,

I have this vector bellow:

01 wait-time 2 secs hearing ringback
02 queue-to skill 1008 pri h
03 wait-time 15 secs hearing 45406 then continue
04 announcement 45403
05 wait-time 20 secs hearing 45406 then continue
06 announcement 45401
07 goto step 5 if unconditionally

The funny thing is, the music on hold 45406 KEEPS on repeating itself everytime a call is being on-hold or if the caller is on queue.

I put the annoucement on the MGP as a wav file, but it seems that its not doing continues playing. It keeps on repeating the music from the very start.

When i dial ext 45406 and i put it to hold and resume again, its playing normal. This is what i want to be heard when call is being queued. But its not happening.

Practically this will work if i plugged it into an external player. But thats what my client want the mgp wav file. Is this thing possible? The only solution im thinking is to have 1 extension dialed the ext 45406 and put it to hold, but it seems lame.

Before i can change it to integ-rep, i have to remove it on the "cha music" form. Now when I changed the file type to integ-rep and do a "cha music", im getting "45406" Extension must be assigned to an 'integ-mus' announcement.

On the change announcements screen, try changing the Q field to b (for Barge in), this way the caller will be connected to the music at any point, not just at the beginning each time.

ANNOUNCEMENTS/AUDIO SOURCES

Extension: 45406 COR: 63
Annc Name: MOH TN: 2
Annc Type: integ-mus Queue? b
Group/Board: 010V9
Protected? y Rate: 64

This is the annoucement screen. Still the same. Any ideas?

Is it really possible to make this annoucement continuesly playing? Unless i will assign an extension and make it play and put it to on-hold but its not even logical.

Multiple audio/music sources
The expanded wait-time _ secs hearing <extension> then <treatment2>
command provides what is known as Multiple Audio/Music Sources wait treatment. The
<extension> option defines an audio or music source that is assigned on the
Announcements/Audio Source administration screen.
The source can be interfaced by way of one of the following:
? Analog/DS1/0 (Line Side T1/E1) station ports
? AUX-Trunks
? An Integrated Announcement board
Any of the announcement/audio source types listed above can be configured to do either of the
following:
? Play at the beginning with queuing (with the Queue field set to y, which is always
recommended for call center applications)
? Barge-in operation (Queue field set to b)
In addition, integrated board announcements can be set to play once (integrated) or to repeat
after each playing continuously (integ-rep). For more information, see Avaya Call Center
Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) Guide, and the Announcements/Audio Sources screen
reference in Administrator Guide for Avaya Communication Manager.
The <treatment2> parameter refers to the treatment that the caller hears after the source
specified by <extension> finishes playing, or the wait-time period expires. The
<treatment2> parameter is also provided if the caller can not be connected to the source.
Failure to connect to the source can result from conditions such as:
? source not available - extension/source not assigned
? source disconnected
? source busy
? queuing not assigned
