Hello,
I have developed applications in VB.net. I am getting into web development using ASP.net. To start with and testing purposes, I need the IIS server. Does Windows 2000 or Visual Studio.net has a copy of IIS? Can someone please help me ?

Thank You,

Rushdi

Hi,

IIS or Internet Information Server is a part of Windows 2000. Go to Control Panel -> Software and check if IIS is installed on your computer.

just a quick note... if you don't have it, you have to go to the add/remove windows components section of add/remove programs.

(there you can also see if you have it, if internet information services is checked)
