I actually don't use microsoft visual basic but I would like to know how to use it. I currently use a program called Formula Graphics to make the programs that I have made in the past. This program also makes screen savers and java applets for web pages. If you don't know what I mean then go to <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> they have it for download. Anyway, back to visual basic and stuff, what is it, how do I get it and how do I learn how to program with it? Do I need to take a trip to amazon.com for books? I have Windows 98. Thanks for anyone who can help me out. I will come back here to check out the response I hope that I will be emailed also though just in case I forget I even went here.

Mike

I guess some experience in access would help. Specially to get the picture of what fits where. There are a few getting started books on VB, at amazon and elsewhere.

<a href=
I would check out a book.. my local book store is waldens, they carry alot of information.. personally .. I love the MSDN, its got those little pieces of info that im lookin for.. (even though I read VB6 Complete book).. check it out, I would suggest starting out with VB6 Learning Edition. It will get you going for sure
Thank you guys so much for your help. I have a book called Programming in Perl and I will definately go out and look for more books. In the meantime I guess I will stick with Formula Graphics and just zip up all the files. It actually makes the programs smaller for sending to zip them up anyway. Thanks again.

Mike
