Hello i'm a meridian and succession programmer and i have to set up a BCM for the first time.

Can we compare ELAN,TLAN of the meridian with LAN1,LAN2 of the BCM ?

I have to set up this BCM in "ITG networking" with a Opt11c and a 81C (The two meridian are already in ip networking)

Does someone have a little documentation how to set up or begin with a BCM ?
Other help you think good for me will be great !!

Thanks.

might want to post this in the norstar or bcm forum, this one is for the pbx side of the house

There is no real difference between LAN1 and LAN2. Both have the same capabilities, it's just that there are two of them in case you want to use the BCM as a router, firewall, etc. or have it sit on two different subnets.

a router can handle 2 subnets without a second port.. last time i looked...
