Hi guys!
I'm brazilian and this is my first post! [bigsmile]

I'm really happy to find a forum to help me out.
And my first question is, I've created a custom column with a simple formula.
SO I'm trying to put a prefix in my formula. The formula will give just a number (e.g 5.000,00) I'd like to insert a prefix (R$ 5.000,00).

Anybody Can help me out please?

Thank in advance
Sorry for my poor english

Hi,
If you create your formula in a spare cost field, it should pick up the prefix set in File > Options, Display for currency. If not, depending upon what type of field you created the custom formula in (Text? Number?) you may be able to add the prefix.

Hi Julie,
Yes, I do Julie.
But If I create a custom column as a number, I couldn't add prefix (R$).

e.g
My Formula:
[Fixed cost]*1,26

Thank in advance

But all works fine in a spare cost field. You are correct - the only thing that may be entered into a number field is numbers.

So, It is not possible add a prefix into number field?

Ok Julie. Many Thanks for your assistence!

Regards

No. You cannot add a prefix to a number field. You can perform math in formulas in text fields and add the prefix there. The only thing that can be in number fields are numbers - no formatting - no prefixes.
