Hi all.

I have an IPO 500v2 and I have extensions like 610, 611, 612, etc...

All the external calls are routed to Group1.

My problem is exists external numbers (mobile phones) like 610XXXXXX, 611XXXXXX, 612XXXXXX, etc...

I configure in access code the 610XXXXXX, 611XXXXXX, 612XXXXXX numbers are routed to Group 1 but when I try to call for example to 610XXXXXX, automatically I have and internal call to ext. 610.

¿What is the best way to configure this?.

Thanks.

Use a prefix for outside lines.
Then your problem is gone.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Thanks.

This is my problem. The client don't want prefixes for outside lines.

Then, do you think is it possible using a different way?.

There are a few different answers to your question but the better question is not CAN you do this but rather SHOULD you do this. And the answer to that question is NO.

If you cannot convince the client that the benefits of the system far outweigh the fraction of a second it will take to press a 9 before making an outbound call then you should walk away from the opportunity.

Isn't this what the dial delay timer and dial count are for????

We don't use 9 in the UK!!!! Although depending on the customer and how quick fingered they are, we tell then to dial the full STD Code when dialling. In the UK all number ranges start with 0, so the above issue goes away.
