befw11s4v2 and speedstream 5260 enet light

I'm trying to get my linksys wireless 4 port router befw11s4v2 to work with my sbc pppoe dsl connection. My problem is that when i connect my cables that the ENET light doesn't light up. I've tried numermous cables and still nothing. Is my routher jacked up?

Is the speedstream working without the router?

Did you already access the setup page of the router (192.168.1.1) and set it to pppoe?

Hi,
yes my speedstream works great without the modem. I did set the router to pppoe and used my login info. Yes nothing worked. It just says can not connect to PPPoE server when trying to connect.

Any ideas?

Have you tried doing what they call "power cycle"...that is shutting down everything including the router and the modem. After a few minutes, power up the modem and wait for it to register itself to sbc...then power up the router and start the pc to check the status.
