BEFSR41 VER 2 problem

I have 4 linksys BEFSR41, 3 of them are V2 and one says VER2. I have upgraded all 4 to firmware 1.433 no problem, They all use the same DSL provider on 4 differen locations to get to Internet and I use port forwarding. When I try to disable PPTP or add more than 4 port (max is 10) under Advanced/Forwaring and Filter menu, it pops up with a userid/passowrd screen just like the one that comes up when I go to 192.168.1.1, I have tried all I could think of, even downgraded to 1.4.27, reset, etc. with no luck! It just take 4 forwarding OK but for the 5th one it asks for password and throws me to "401 Authorization Required" or when I try to diable PPTP it asks for password and then same 401 error.
I have contacted LINKSYS but I have got the standard no FAQs and no solid help. Has anyone seen this? Am I dealing with a Bad hardware or bad production run?

Sorry, forgot to add this,
3 of them work fine and accept 10 forwarding statements, the 4th one is the problem (VER2 bought 2 months ago). I have tried with and without UPnP, and tried through UPnP forwarding and get the same error, Under UPNP only lets you set DNS for UDP or TCP not both and that is real bad since large DNS lookup and ZONE transfer require TCP.

I have seen a similar problem with the BEFSR11 router doing port-forwarding in a multisubnet configuration. I have even posted a question on this message board about it with limited help. What I have concluded is that Linksys does not support port-forwarding on more than one subnet (192.168.1.x). If you have subnets on your network other than 192.168.1.x (i.e. 192.168.2.x, 192.168.3.x, etc.) then you will see the problem you are having.

In your case however, I'm not sure if your problem is related without understanding the network topology of your LAN behind the router(s). Can you draw it somehow? From what you described it may also be a problem with NAT translation tables interfering with the ports you are forwarding. Are you forwarding any ports above 128?
