Im not sure that this is the right place for my question, but I will ask anyway :)

I have a program on my Windows XP computer that produces sound from internal PC beeper when gives some kind of signalization to user. Because that sound is not so loud, Im asking You is it possible to redirect that sound to audio-out ie. to external speakers. Off course I dont have a source code for the program, so correction has to be made to Windows OS or inside PC hardware.

Regards.

As far as making OS system changes, I am not to sure about. I doubt, without source code, that you could make an effective change.

But what you could do is, make some physical changes to the PC. Your gonna need some black tape, a razor blade (or sharp teeth).

I would cut the black and red wire from the speaker in the case and place on those two wires a longer set of wires so they can hang out of the case. Perhaps you could wire a headphone jack or RCA cable into the red and black wires. With this setup, you could then plug it into a stereo reciever and have it amplified.....

Hope this helps. I did it with an alarm clock because it was not loud enough.
