Becoming XP Compliant? 1

Hi all,
I'm a fairly new vc++ developer and have never had to ensure one of my app's to be compliant to a particular platform. I have always developed on 98 for a 98, etc.
Now the app that I was working on, developed on NT for clients with NT, has to be tested and changed to become XP compiant.
Again, I was curious if anyone could tell me what to expect or any hints on making my app XP compliant, etc.

Any advice is welcomed.

Also, at one point Microsoft had published a document called Common Application Compatibility Issues by Todd Phillips. I couldn't find it on their site, but I didn't look very hard, either.
