When doing a monthly archive backup, some of our locations have up to a terabyte of information. It will use 3 or 4 tapes. When I look in the job log to find the tape information, it only lists one tape and slot from the library. How can I easily find ALL the tapes it used?

Open the job log and expand the job log.

There is a find button in lower left and do a search for "media label" without quotes.

It should find the rest of the media it used. This is the easist way I have found. There are some report in the reports tab that may help.

I will check it out tomorrow Stevot. Are you a backup administrator for your company? We are using 2003 server, how bout you? You sure have helped me out since joining. I need to read here more, I am learning all this backup stuff and about to pull my hair out. You wouldn't think it was so involved. But it is.
