BE 8.6 failes to BackUp information store

When ever i get this eror it failes,but if not the back is sucessfully..i have 8.6 BE with Win2k Server SP3-->backing up a Win2k Server Sp3 with Exchange 2000 Sp3

Can in general ignore this error. Have clients who have same error but it does not affect backup or restore. It appears to be a problem with the brick-level backup that Backup Exec does. It could also be due to those users having their Outlook open to those messages for eg.
As mentioned, this does not mean your backup failed, just those files were listed as corrupt.


Claudius (What certifications??)
 
I have the same setup and errors. I have noticed that they are always e-mails that have been kicked out due to a symantec e-mail filtering. If you go to the mailbioxes via Web Access and delete them from OWA they will disapear. You will not find the files on the users machine only on the exchange mailboxes.
