BE 8.5 backup to NT volume 1

I've searched in the manuals but can't find the answer to this question: Can BE backup files to a disk volume? I'd like to back up some crucial files to a 25GB RAID array instead of tape. Any ideas?

BENT 8.6 allows you to build disk as a storage unit. All versions prior cannot.
