BE 10 - CopyToTape at a special time?

Hi all,

Is it possible to configure BE 10 in a way that when I configure a B2D Job and a copy ToTape Job after that, the Copy Job does not start immediatly after the Disk_job but for example two hours later or at a special time?

If it is possible, how can I do that.

Hi EGR!

Yes it is possible. You have to do the following:

- Create a new policy
- Define a job template inside this policy to backup your data
- Define another template in this policy to duplicate the job after completion. There you can set a start time for the duplicate job
- Create a backup selection
- Create new jobs using the policy and the backup selection(s)
