I use Delphi7. What are the best and optimal way to connect my app with SQL Server 2000? by Bde? by ODBC? ADO?other?

Thanks

I've been converting our application from BDE to ADO, and then from ADO to dbExpress.

We had a few problems when using BDE, threrfore we decided to convert to ADO, and then our customer started to complain about the performance. Then we had no choice other than convert the application again... Puuuhh.....

This time we converted to dbExpress. Now our customer seems to be happy... We even got some christmas presents... :)

Conclusion:
BDE - End of life. It doesnt support single sign logon.
ADO - Too slow for our customers.
dbExpress - Fast and simple. Ability to write own clients.
