Hello all,
When workstation loaded with sysprepped image generated from BDD, the latest cleaning script "C:\Windows\clean.vbs", running after post actions fails to delete C:\local folder. (Permission denied)

No read only attrib there, local administrator context...the same issue even after reboot(no files in use).

Any idea what might be the problem is appreciated.

Thank you
M.

you say there is no read only attrib set but what about the security setting on the folder?

Jon

Hello once again.

I found where the problem was. Installation of McAfee VScan with IPS was blocking deletion of its inst. source files despite the fact that through McAfee Custom Installation Designer all features including IPS was disabled.

I already came across such a behaviour of McAfee IPS products (Vscan or HIP) when it hooks deep in to OS and it is not following exactly what GUI and policies presents. But it is other story.

Thanks to all of you for your attention.
